I've been reading about this in science fiction books since I was a child. Humanities food problems solved by growing meat as a culture with no need to rear or kill the animal, or exploit the resources, or, I assume, release more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
I was wondering where the Chowhounders are with this? Particularly the vegetarians? I had the conversation with a vegetarian friend of mine several years ago. He said it wouldn't change his opinion of him eating meat as he considered meat unhealthy.
I use cultures to make yogurt & sourdough. I wonder how long it will be before I can make meat at home?
