Looking for a sweet potato drop biscuit or scone recipe that leaves chunks of sweet potatoes within a mostly white scone/biscuit. I'm guessing what I had a decade ago in Somerville, MA was a scone, although it was from a "biscuit" place. It was lovley-not too sweet, humongous, creamy sweet flecks of sweet potato throughout it (the place went out of business).
Haven't found the right recipe yet. Many online are more of a sweet potato mixed into the dough.
I'll even take a recipe for crispy and light humongous scones, if you have one.... and try and integrate the sweet potato.
