I have recently come into 2 apples and 6 pears, and have about a half cup of chopped butternut squash lying around. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet things and prefer savory-type dishes. Can I throw these things in a frying pan with some olive oil and maybe some thyme? I've never tried to saute fruit before and am not sure if they'll cook at the same pace, or taste weird.
Any other suggestions of what to do with these items is welcomed. I have an extremely limited supply of other ingredients though!! Think poor bachelorette kitchen :)
