I do a lot of trout fishing, and I was wondering: What is stopping me from munching them streamside, without cooking? I could carry a little container of sticky rice and a sushi knife, with a little bottle wasabi/soy, right in my tackle box. I know that the mucus on the outside of a salmon is poisonous, but does this hold true for trout? I allready eat their roe and some other choice bits raw, and I have never had a problem. Has anyone ever even had trout sushi in the first place?
