We went for my mother-in-law's 90th and had a mostly splendid meal. Thanks for the recommendation for Calypso, we decided on Sunfish when we read reviews here saying it was some of the best seafood in Florida.

We loved everything except one main course which, unfortunately two of us ordered. The Crab Imperial and Seafood Salad starters had wonderful delicate combinations of flavors. The special cioppino was delicious as was the conch appetizer(I can still taste the marvelous sauce). A special entree of swordfish and risotto was outstanding, the fish was cooked beautifully and the mushroom and red wine risotto had fabulous flavors.

The one downside was the shrimp. Admittedly we should have known better than to order this dish (but nearly every table had it and it did look yummy!). Essentially it was two giant shrimp, prosciuotto de parma, sun-dried tomatoes, some greens and more rigatoni than I have ever seen. Everything was tasteless. The shrimp described as jumbo Gulf Shrimp turned out to be frozen from Indonesia. Would someone please tell this tourist, isn't this false advertizing? In Louisiana, where I have family, Gulf shrimp means Gulf of Mexico not Indonesia. Honestly, when we asked the waiter seemed to think there was nothing wrong with calling these Gulf shrimp. Regardless, they had zero flavor and the dish was completely out of balance. The only good part was that I could share some of my tasteless rigatoni with my Italian mother-in-law who wanted a few more carbs to go with her delicious appetizer/dinner. We are still kicking ourselves for ordering that dish but everyone else had a marvelous meal. I would go back but I would be a bit more careful in my order.
