Hello all: am finalizing my Paris plans for next week, and after realizing that our first night in Paris (Sunday Feb 22) is also the last day for the Bottacelli exhibit at the Museum at the Luxembourg Gardens/Palace, I made a reservation for the exhibit at 6 p.m. My husband loves italian art, so we don't want to miss this show, and 6 p.m. was about all they had left...
We arrive from the west coast US at about 11 a.m., so my hope is to go to our apt., refresh, perbaps have a nap and lunch (not necessarily in that order :-))and a walk before heading over to the exhibit. We are staying on the Isle St Louis, so walking all the way there is a possibility if the weather is decent.
I figure 1.5 to 2 hours will be all the art we can handle on jet lag, so am looking for post-show dinner ideas for around 7:30 or 8 p.m., near the Museum. Any suggestions, keeping in mind that it will be Sunday, we will probably be pretty (ok, REALLY) tired, and that it will be our first night in Paris.
I have also considered the idea of eating before the exhibit (either near the Museum, on Isle St Louis, or somewhere walking distance in between), so suggestions that would be open for a late lunch early dinner (ie around 4 p.m.) or that are always open, would also be welcome. Suggestions?
