Sunday afternoon at Angela's

This was not a planned trip, and we weren't even hungry, but had to stop in and check it out.

The guacamole with warm chips and salsa was exceptional. I don't know how they find such perfectly ripe avocados in the dead of winter. I was so glad to find something this good without getting on an airplane.

I had the shrimp with cilantro sauce. The shrimp were plentiful and well above average quality. The sauce was delicious. As an aside. it was likely prepared with chicken stock, which would improve the flavor for many, but I might request an alternative next time.

DH had the chicken with pipan vojo (I am copying their words) The chicken was a bit dry . The sauce was delicious, with a lot of heat,

It was very busy, and there were a number of well-behaved very young children, so it is definitely family friendly.

I am not going to wait for another trip to the airport to get back there.
