Hi I just tried this place last Saturday. It's a brand new Korean BBQ restaurant on Western, north of Wilshire Blvd. It is very good, they use real charcoal but it's a much fancier place than Soot Bull Jeep. They have poor service so I'm never going back. Decor is more like Woo Lae Oak, but I like their side dishes and beef more (they use Angus) than Woo Lae Oak. We ordered a cod and daikon in spicy red sauce, this went really well with rice, kalbi, and duck bbq. The duck bbq wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Not because their duck meat was low quality but because they didn't slice the meat into same size/thickness pieces, which I thought was a pity... Maybe my expecations were too high. However, the sauce for the duck was really delicious; it was this vinegar, onion, scallion dip. Not unlike gribiche (except more chunky), which cuts the richness of the duck fat.
