Any suggestions for Monday in Artesia?

Hershey Bomar | Jun 25, 2004 05:25 PM

I'm picking up my girlfriend at Long Beach airport at 10 a.m. She wants to get Indian and hang out a while in Artesia--Lunch, food shopping, clothing and jewelry.

We need places to eat, I've tried Ashoka, and Ambala Dhaba. Ashoka had a buffet, I like trying everything, but I hate buffets, so I'd rather stay away. Ambala Dhaba was good, but not very memorable to me. I think I remember Standard Sweets being shut down. What about Tangra Bistro in Cerritos. It's Indian Chinese I believe.

Any favorite English import shops in the area, or other ideas of things to do in between meals.

Thanks in advance,
HB
