Suggestions for good inexpensive lunch in Chelsea?

Kitchop | Oct 12, 2003 04:45 PM

The organization I work for just moved downtown from the theatre district to our new offices in Chelsea last week. So there's a whole bunch of us exploring the neighborhood looking for lunch every day now. We're in the mid-20s/7th Ave area, but I'll walk a bit for a good lunch.

I'm looking for recommendations of good places for inexpensive lunch (under $10) -- both take-out and sit down. I'm open to literally all cuisines, but would especially like to find good basics like good Chinese, deli, pizza and chicken parm sandwiches, Mexican, falafel, soup, salads, burgers, Indian.

We're a happy group that likes to go out after work sometimes for happy hour, but I'll make that a separate post since I've already asked for so much for lunch. ;)

Thanks,
Kitchop
