Disclaimer: I am long time family friends, practically part of the family, with the owners of this long-standing establishment.

But I am here to avow, bias aside, that the cracked conch here is absolutely hands down the best I have ever had.

And, almost even better than the cracked conch are the conch fritters. Not too doughy, rightly spiced, and fantastically full of conch.

Oh yes - and their key lime pie is to die for - hardly green, only slightly tinged as the "real deal" is supposed to be, it delights on your tongue.

On the way to Key West, stop there in the late afternoon for conch and a cocktail at the Tiki Bar - you'll be happy.
