I'm stuffed...

Ok , last time I'm going to try hyping this place , which I honestly think could give any place around a run for their money . The place is Hong Thanh in Reading . Started off with the hot & sour soup , which is unlike any other I've had . Also had the jimica roll , which was a special app . tonight . Very tasty . Finished off with the beef stew . Let me explain the stew a bit . You can get it with either beef , pork ( real pork , not the usual crap you get at chinese places ) or chicken . The stew itself is made the same either way , with lemongrass , curry & coconut ( there's also peanuts crushed up in it & a big ball of rice noodles in the middle of it ) . My lady had the vietnamese style egg roll & the marinated duck . Both were great . Desserts were as follows , I had a chocolate rasberry sorbet , she had a coffee flan , which once I tasted it I got instantly jealous . Altogether , cost was $43 w.o. tip . Hard to beat both food wise & price wise .
