Student Needs Paris/Berlin Help

I'll be in Paris and Berlin in mid-January for two weeks, and need some v. good restaurants on a real tight budget. I've spent a year in Paris, so I know and have eaten at many of the classics (i'll put a list of some of my favorites at the bottom), but I'm interested in lesser known places. I'll throw out some names of very top of my budget places in a second, but if anyone has real cheap 10-20 euros for dinner restos, that is wonderful. I'm willing to travel anywhere in Paris, so that is not a question. Thanks in advance for your help! Anything on Berlin is great to me as I've never been. A few restos I've been thinking about:

Cave Gourmande de Mark Singer
Le Troquet
Villaret
Taka
Le Sinago
Chartier

Places I've gone and love:

Lao Siam -- wonderful thai at good prices in belleville
l'Excuse -- good food, great ambiance in 4e
Les Magnolias -- worth the trip just outside of Paris on the RER. Special.
Grand Vefour -- this one is obvious.
L'Epi Dupin -- sure the tourists..but the food.. great.
Cafe aux Delices -- still undecided, but ambitious and creative.
Le Bon Saint Pourcain -- a french home in a restaurant
Rendez-vous aux Chauffeurs -- good cheap food out of the way.
Apicius -- magic.
Jamin -- see above... though I might prefer Apicius.
