Street Vendors: Tamales and Champurrado but whats near you?

jenn | Nov 14, 200302:11 PM     16

Someone posted about finding tamales and champurrado at the corner of Santa Monica and Normandie. We who live in Koreatown are fortunate enough to have vendors who come down the street and deliver the tamales and champurrado to our door---its amazing how you can hear the cry even over the tv when the windows are shut. My husband is now an addict.

We also have a tamale person on the corner of Normandie and Third in the mornings and vendors doing tacos at night [if the cops haven't been by].

I have no idea where all of this food is being prepared but its awfully tasty. It got me wondering
wondering---what else, if anything, is delivered in other LA neighborhoods or are we just blessed to be in a foody neighborhood? Are there people delivering food in the SGV and if so, what?

And please don't share complaints about the icecream vendor whose truck parks outside your house playing "Its a small world" for hours. I mean Real Food that can get you out of having to cook dinner for the family.

thanks.
