Cutting onions makes me cry like there is no tomorrow. I've tried many different things to no avail. Some of them include the bizarre (chewing gum while dicing - a hint I found on the cap of a Snapple - maybe that's the problem!); to common sense (opening a window to let fresh air in); to the ritualistic (lighting a match and lighting a candle); to the laughable (wearing glasses).
Unfortunately, as great as this experiment was, nothing has worked!
I would appreciate your best tips on how to help my eyes help me *cook,* not tear!
