I spent a fruitless hour wandering around Chinatown on Sunday looking for steamed scallion buns by the bag. I love them for a quick breakfast snack during the week. No luck. I suspect that I was too late in the day (4pm), but I was also frustrated by not knowing how to say steamed scallion (or green onion) bun in chinese.
Can anyone give me a sure fire place to get tasty scallion buns by the bag, and some help in making myself understood? Thanks.
