I adore steamed meat or veggie baos; they make the perfect snack or great quick meal fix. I grew up in LA and remember a small stand in SGV that sold the best steamed baos but cannot remember its name or whether it still exists today. I am looking for the white fluffy steamed exteriors with filling that includes meat and/or veggies; some baos also include vermicelli and/or egg (although I don't prefer the type that adds a piece of hard boiled egg). Any recommendations on where I can buy the best steamed baos for take-out, ideally in SGV? Bakeries, stands and restaurant recommendations all welcome. TIA!
