Steak, it's what's for dinner (but where?)

Hi folks,

My wife and I have a real hankering to get dinner some time soon at a high-end DC steakhouse. This will be for a special occasion, we'll be stepping out in style, so we want something that's the total package--great meat, excellent service, good sides, and a nice ambiance.

Here's where you come in, because I haven't been to many of the city's better steakhouses (and she hasn't been to any) in the past few years, and the places that intrigue me most are relatively recent. I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on the following places, and any other suggestions, provided a) they are in the District (we'll hit Ray's another time), and b) it's not a national chain, other than BLT (I have been to Morton's, S&W, and Capital Grille, and I want something that feels a bit less generic than them). Here is my list, in no particular order:

J&G
Bourbon
BLT
Charlie Palmer
