Time to purchase my next stand mixer. Currently, I have the Kitchen Aid Artesian. I previously owned the Kitchen Aid 600. I was thinking of purchasing the Pro-Line series but the reviews said otherwise. I was looking at the Kenwood Chef Titanium, I used it in a cooking class and fell instantly in love. My local Sur la Table does not stock it and I am a little hesitant to purchase from overseas, if it ever needed repair I'd have to box it up and send it to Kenwood. I've been doing some research on the Ankarsrum. Has anyone ever used this machine? The reviews give it a glowing report on making bread, but the information I did find on making cakes and cookies, it doesn't do well. I can't believe that, the machine is a whopping $699.00 I find it hard to believe it wouldn't make excellent cakes, but I don't know that for sure. ANY information/help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone can see the photos.
