I just came back from a magnificent afternoon of digging in the earth at a local farm where we harvested our own lettuce, beets, radishes, Swiss chard, tatsoi, zucchini and unbelievably large squash blossoms (which we had to shake the bees out of before we could take them home!). Now, what do I do with them? I have heard you can stuff them, but don't know what to use as stuffing. I am not a meat eater, and I can't eat wheat/gluten, so breadcrumbs seem out. Perhaps mushrooms? Any ideas would be appreciated. Also, baked, fried, battered?
