Spring World and Sliced Beef tendon!

I love spring world. Love it.

Today we tried for the first time the sliced beef tendon with roasted chili vinaigrette. WOW! Great combo of chew, bite, chili, vinegar, oil, and salt. I can't believe I have gone this long without knowing how cool chinese beef tendon is.

We also got the usual lamb and fish stew with pickles, dried fish with peppers, chicken with sesame vinaigrette, fish in miso sauce, and pea shoots with garlic. But that tendon, man, what a great treat!

The owner at spring world is very hospitable. In fact, when was the last time you EVER even met the owner at a chinese place? He has comped us a few times with free dessert or a free app. Very nice guy. I have never been given anything free at chinese place before.
