Five girlfriends are getting together for a special holiday brunch in early December. We are leaning towards a Saturday, and would like some place a bit bustling. In other words, we don't want it to be really quiet, as we want to feel free to chat, laugh and be festive. Maybe a restaurant that has a bit of sophistication without being so serious. I don't think we want something really quaint. Price is not a concern. Any area is fine except UWS. I always read about Eleven Madison Park, Fleur De Sel, and Tocqueville on Chowhounds. Tocqueville seems a bit quiet for this occasion. Was considering David Burke and Donatella. Also perhaps Five Points. Any thoughts on these restaurants and other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
