I'm sorry if I didn't post this earlier, but apparently 4 days ago, the much loved Sichuan restaurant, "Spicy & Tasty" re-opened at a new location. The address is 39-07 Prince street, 1 H. Prince street between 39th ave and Roosevelt ave. 718 359 1601. Now for the best part, their hours are 11 am to 3 am, 7 days.
I went by this morning after breakfast to get a menu. I couldn't resist getting a small order of some green pickled greens and fiddle head(purple)in hot oil because I almost never see this fiddle head in anything other than Korean places, and I love these.
The other cold plate selections (you can see them right at the entrance) all looked really expertly prepared, with very skilled "knife kung fu". The Sliced Pork with Garlic(I assume that's what it is) looked heavenly, with the thinly sliced pork all snow white and crystal clear. I will get that when I eat in, soon.
At the previous Spicy and Tasty I've only had their spicy hot pots, which are not on the new location's menu. I'm not familiar with their other dishes, so I hope to hear reports of comparision from those who do.
