Speaking of Shanghai restaurants...

I recently went to one in the plaza opposite of Star Walk (not Skyland de Shanghai, but the other one by No Frills. IIRC, the Chinese name is "Shanghai one Family"). There were some good dishes out of the items we ordered. Stir fried eel strips, dan dan noodles, and the pork with reddish sauce (I believe it's "Nam Yue" sauce) (I'm sorry, I'm having a brain freeze and I can't remember specific details right now, but fortunately most of the menu has pictures and numbers) were notably good. The steamed buns ("silver strip rolls") were only OK, and you can usually tell because you can see individual strands of cooked dough when you rip open those of good quality, the Lion's Head stew had moist meatballs, but they were too loose and we suspect had too much filler for my mother's taste (i.e. not like how grandma used to make) and the 8 Treasure rice pudding was pretty decent (order ahead if you want it, it requires a 30 minute wait), but we were stuffed by the time we were done.

If you know what this place is called in English or the dishes, please feel free to interject.
