More and more good culinary things are happening north of Naples. Besides Mereday's, South Fork Grille is another terrific addition to Coconut Point, with relatively moderate pricing.
I'm not sure how to categorize the menu so I will call it eclectic. They have killer arincini rice balls with marinara and goat cheese-as enjoyable as any I've had in Italy. Brown sugar cured pork belly and fried oysters were also winners. Caesar salad was fine, but nothing special. Seared bronzini was fantastic, with crispy skin and perfectly cooked flesh. Also wonderful were the fish and chips. They fry food very well. The low country boil was fair.
The wine list is well thought out with a variety of interesting and well priced wines by the glass.
