So as a college student currently in Med school my girlfriend and I never have enough time to cook. We usual cook big meals that last us the whole week. I have been intrigued with sous vide cooking and have had great steaks and fish cooked this way. We recently bought a SousVide Supreme and awaiting for its arrival. I just wanted to know if it would be possible to cook a lot of steaks in the SVS at one time and then cooling and storing the cooked steaks in the fridge or freezer for later meals. Would it be feasible to just dunk the precooked steaks in the SVS and have it pre-heat to optimal temp before consuming? I didn't get any info online about sous viding in advance for future meals.
