Source for 3L jugs of EVOO with good turnover?

We go through a lot of olive oil around here and for the past year I've been buying the 3L tins of Italian grown from Whole Foods for around $20. Problem is, recently it's become increasingly difficult to find the Italian kind.

I'm not opposed to Spanish/Greek/Med olive oils, but at the lower end I only find the peppery, assertive character (rustic?) that I enjoy in Italian grown. That said, is there a better source for these around the area? I'm picturing maybe a place in the North End or an Italian market where they would have decent turnover of this and where it wouldn't break the bank? This is an everyday olive oil, not a finishing oil, so not looking for anything spectacular, but at the same time don't want a completely neutral tasting "olive oil" either. Suggestions?
