soup's on in OC June 22 join us

davidt | Jun 11, 200307:06 PM     3

i've got to confirm that oki doki is open sundays, but here is the tentative schedule.

Lunch: vermicelli combo or sizziling rice soup or other soups at Oki Doki

Pre-Dinner/Snack: Avilia's El Ranchito on Placentia in Costa Mesa has a very nice Chicken Soup we could also order chips/salsa and guacomole and drinks (btw has anyone had their seafood soup?)

Early Dinner: Various Soups and other stuff at Royal Thai in Newport Beach

I was thinking of lunch at 1pm Avila's at 2:30 or so and Dinner at 5pm or so that way you can still get home and have some of your weekend left.

If we have at least 5 people who want to go then it's a go. If we can't get at least 5 people then I'll slink back and let the professionals with more street cred try to put together a more appealing Orange County gathering. I know that none of these places are super chowish (rare and unique finds), but they seemed to be the somewhat consensus in regards to OC soup.

i just hope it's not 90 degrees on the 22nd.
