Went to Martinique Bistro last night. Excellent as ever. Particularly noteworthy was Chef Eric's soup special, a shrimp bisque. The intensity and depth of flavor made me swoon. My dining companions, upon tasting it, wish they'd ordered it. They each had the oyster chowder with bacon, which was delicious, but the shrimp bisque was at another level. Do yourself a favor, call and see if it's going to be around the next few nites. If so, get over there and see if you agree with me!
