Co-worker and I headed to Sole Cafe for lunch today. We were say by the radiator, but also by the TV, which was way too loud. We asked the waitress to turn it down, and she accommodated.
Had a bit of fun trying to order wine. She had to check to see what they had. They found some mini-bottles of Gallo Cabernet. The sommelier must have the day off.
Co-worker had the spicy pork stir-fry. I tried the calamari stir-fry. Both are excellent. It's nice to get quality meat, and a stir-fry that is loaded with flavor without being greasy. The banchan, as usual, is spectacular, and all-you-can-eat.
My only gripe is with the wine markup. $6 for Gallo isn't reasonable, especially when the waitress is fishing around the kitchen to find it. I'll stick with complimentary hot tea next time.
Nonetheless, you have to get here.
