I'm dimly recalling a thread on this subject not too many months ago, but my search efforts are all coming up dry. And so, at the risk of irking with repetition, I thought I'd post again......
Oy, so my four wisdom teeth were removed today, and now I'm at home on the couch and anticipate being in no state to chew. The freezer has some Toscis hazelnut and generic sherbet stockpiled, but ice cream won't get me through the week, though oh, I'd sure like that. If anybody has some ideas for creative, reasonably healthful, and maybe mood-enhancing [ie. no canned creamed corn) soft foods, I really would love to hear them. (I was thinking of calling out for some nice Baigan Bhurta, for instance, if there's any in the area). I'm in Cleveland Circle, so all of Brookline and Brighton/Allston are easy enough.
Thanks again guys. Just a side-note, but so often you all are hit up for hard-earned opinions, and on the whole, you share them with such energy, acuity, and good-will. It's really so generous.
