SoFlo Sojourn

Just returned from a trip to SoFlo and was able to check in on a few of my favorite haunts:

Tom Jenkins in Ft. Laud.--Made it there twice for the spare ribs, mac and cheese and greens. Heavenly as always. Ribs were big, tender and meaty--my guests were knocked out.

Flanigans on Southern in WPB and Atlantic Blvd. in Pompano (Pirhana Pat's)-- Smokey fish dip and huge slabs of fresh yellowfin tuna for $11.00. Can't beat it.

Crawdaddy's in Jensen Beach--Big bowl of pasta and shrimp in a creamy fresh tomato and garlic sauce for $9.00. Nice.

Rey's on 10th Ave. Hialeah--Rabo Encendido con boniato y maduros for $4.50. w/colada de cafe. Magnifico.

Tacos al Carbon in Lake Worth--No goat, but had two lengue and two carnita tacos w/guacamole that settled in quite well with a Negro Modelo.

Also had a very nice strip steak at the Holiday Inn in Highland Beach. Great place to stay for $99.00 a night.
