SNAP Crepe and Leopold's

rHairing | Jun 18, 2006 01:09 PM

So my friend and I have started a weekend morning ritual of walking from Fletcher's Cove into Georgetown, stopping for breakfast/lunch and then walking back.

Today, we decided to try Snap Crepe. I know the reviews here are mixed at best but what the heck. Online, it says they open at 10. Due to the expected heat, we timed it so we would arrive just at 10 and be on our way. At 10, the door was open, two people were behind the counter. The man behind the counter was not sure if they were open yet, then the lady snapped at us and informed us they would not be open for 20 more minutes. It was horribly rude. We won't be back...ever.

We ended up at Leopolds as we had in the past. The food was wonderful. I have had two of their smoked salmon dishes, and their eggs..all have been good. The poppyseed mousse was very refreshing. AND....the service is better. I actually had the same waiter from start to finish!!

So Georgetowners, beyond Leopold's and that side cafe at Dean and Deluca's where can people in workout clothes go for breakfast/brunch on the weekend???
