Snacks and Meals for Non-Patient Hospital Stay

sjd98765 | Aug 29, 201607:22 PM     10

So my 4 month old son is having his second open heart surgery this Friday, I will be staying with him in the hospital the whole time and my husband and our parents will be driving back and forth from our house (which is over an hour away) during his recovery. The ICU has a big fridge and microwave that the families may use, BUT there is no cafeteria in this hospital (super weird considering it's one of the top children's hospitals in the country). So I'm looking for ideas for meals that my family could easily make and bring down here and easily store and reheat in a microwave?....really don't want to eat takeout for weeks. My only idea was a cold salad like pasta salad or potato salad. Any ideas would be wonderful!!
