Small Hot Whole Red Peppers, dried

alessandria | Sep 14, 201911:27 AM     11

Whenever a recipe called for dried chili peppers, I used these. I have looked at at least 20 grocery stores for small dried hot chili peppers (1 1/2 - 2 1/2 inches long) and can only find ground or flaked red pepper or specialty Asian, Indian, Mexican, etc. What do I need to look for for the generic, all-purpose version of these which I believe were standard in every grocery spice department not too long ago? Thanks.
