What do with Slovene Smoked Sausages? Soup Recipes?

I have some smoked Slovene sausages in my freezer that came from a local shop. I want to turn it into some sort of authentic Eastern European stew, but my online searches have left me empty handed. Any chowhound ideas? (The sausages are smoked, were called Slovenes, and are about half the size of a normal link of sausage)
