Sitar Indian Cuisine - Pasadena

After saying over the past several years "I have to try that place" when at one of my favorite haunts, La Fiesta Grande, next door, I finally did. Thank God I did!!
I have only gone twice for lunch, but they have a great lunch buffet - and a steal at $7.95 (went up $1 during the 2 weeks between visits). Naan on the tables, small, intimate restaurant with good, cordial service. Water glasses constantly kept full. Buffet is great. Many selections, Lamb and Chicken Curry, Tandoori Chicken, roasted potatoes and Palak Paneer (spinach w/Indian cheese) both times. Veggies were different both times (once just Cauliflower with Potatoes, and next time a blend of cauliflower, squash, etc. - nice and spicy!), delicious. There were also additional dishes that were great, but am not sure exactly what they were. Full bar. They also have a banquet room and cater. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had. They offer their lunch buffet M-Sat and they have a Sunday Champagne Brunch for $9.95 (11-4:30.
