So just got back from a long conference and weekend in SF and promised a full report. Thanks for all the suggestions. So....
Sat - Cioppino at Tadich for Lunch, grilled Calamari and Roast Chicken at Delfina for Dinner, and for dessert - apple tart and coffee at the bar a Zuni - a stupendous eating day!!! (Also had some pastries at Boulange De Cole and Tartine)
Sun - Omellette at Mama's (pepper, tomato, and chedder - and I love their jam!!!) - dinner at Town Hall - great soup of apple and chestnut and a rib-eye - very tasty and a good looking restaurant.
Mon - not too foodie a day, but had a burger at Taylor's in Ferry Plaza with garlic fries and a shake - not as good as I hoped.
Tuesday - Breakfast at Amy's Bread and Peets, and dinner at Tartine - fascinating panini with pecorino and almonds with lemon and sage. devils food cake dessert, and enough sweets to keep me wired for the red-eye flight!. I am noshing on one of their brownies and AMAZING chocolate chip cookies now back in DC as I write.
