Shopping for food in the twin cities

Orik | Feb 12, 2001 09:30 AM

Ok, so by now we know to get our fish at coastal (, to buy asian products at shuang hur ( and united noodles ( and between Byerly's ( and Whole Foods we can find our basic supermarket goods. Bill's imported foods supplements this with tahini and hummus and DHL does a wonderful job bringing over Michael Ginor's foie gras from upstate new york (

Two questions (probably trivial ones) remain:

1. Where can we buy game?
2. Where can we buy marrow bones, sweetbreads and other parts of beef not traditionally eaten around here (I know Byerly's have some of them, but they're frozen which does serious textural damage)?
