shoppin' in San Fran

seth | Feb 4, 2006 10:55 PM

I just moved into the city and I'm tryin' to figure out where to buy what. I could use any help I can get. I have no problem going multiple places for different things, but of course I would like to avoid driving all over the city just to make diner. I live in the western edition, so closer is better. I am a professional, and mention such only as it does influence what I'm going to buy. I'm looking for raw ingredients; as good, and as cheap, as possible. I really need a produce place, a butcher and a fishmonger. Cheese and wine shops are also appreciated, but they're not as important as raw ingredients. All i really know around here is the fresh whole, er... um, food whole, or... whole paycheck. Anything else is appreciated.
