I KNOW that many people have posted about Studio Kitchen but after our dinner tonight I just had to again! Judy and I took my mother (for her birthday) and brother-in-law and Mandy and Liz took Mandy's mother (for her birthday too) and their friend Lauren.
We had the sweet corn souffle that others have had but this time with white Pa. corn-delish again. Chilled Roma Tomato soup with lemon mosto oil (Lemon-Olive oil) was refreshing and oh so smooth. Roast breast of Long Island Duckling in Madeira consomme with caramelized vegetables-incredible. And Sweet cream of peanut soup, warm chocolate souffle with cold pressed peanut oil-sweet and intense, I wanted to lick the bowl.
The two bottles of prosecco were great as were the Chassagne-Montrachet Burgundy and Chateau Franc-Guadet St. Emilion. Lauren was gracious enough to bring a vintage 1985 port to go with dessert, heavenly sweet and smooooth! Shola was his warm, friendly, and modest self who makes Studio Kitchen the incredible experience that it is! He spoke of wanting to be more ambitious (is that possible?) in the Fall, incorporate some game dishes, and possibly add an optional cheese course for an extra $10. So, if it's possible, Studio Kitchen may even get better (hard to imagine).
