Most shocking customer service I have ever experienced...

Thai Thani - Orlando.
Went in but wait was too long for us, so we decided to get take out.
Ordered 5 dishes, including the sea bass specifically requested without the shrimp, which my wife is allergic to (which we told them). The 'without shrimp' was printed on both the receipt and the ticket stapled to the bag. On getting back to the hotel, we discover the sea bass has shrimp, and therefore not suitable for my wife. As an aside, there was a tiny piece of fish of that looked like the dogs dinner in a totally bland curry sauce. Wife doesn't eat meat, so the other dishes were not suitable for her.

Phone the restaurant to complain - get put on hold then passed to someone who sounded like they did not believe us and then hung up. Called back, hung up again. Called a third time, managed to speak with a/the manager. He was also clearly suspicious, and eventually said he would simply credit back the cost of the fish dish to my credit card. I can tell you I did not appreciate being treated like a liar. When I told him it had ruined our meal as my wife had nothing to eat, he said, and I kid you not:

"Is there a KFC by your hotel?"

Gob-smacked.
