Shelburne Falls, MA the Village Restaurant: surprisingly good

wmassnative | Oct 29, 200708:23 AM

Because Cafe Martin didn't open for 15 minutes and already had a line, and the Gypsy Apple Bistro was closed, we decided to head over to the Village Restaurant for lunch. I was happy enough with my meal that I thought a posting here was worthwhile: my Reuben sandwich was amazingly good quality, extra sauerkraut as requested (trust me, this is truly hard to get in most places) and nice crispy bakery bread not soaked in butter or sandwich juices. Service was great... an unexpectedly enjoyable meal!
