shanghai restaurant on 9th and judah

feeling like a curmudgeon as this is the second negative message I've posted today but I wanted to report on the notably lousy lunch I had yesterday at the Shanghai restaurant on 9th and Judah across from the stop for the N. I ordered two favorite dishes of mine, xiao long bao and pan fried rice cakes with pork and pickled cabbage, and was disappointed with both. The dumplings were hardly juicy at all and were not served hot. The rice cakes were way too soft and tasted primarily of fish.

I don't care much about service, but here it was almost non-existent.
