Shake Shack Review THANKS!

WOW! Shake Shack gets my vote for best burger! Despite the constant drizzle, my boyfriend and I made it down there and were pleasantly rewarded!

Due to the weather, there was no line (what I was expecting). I ordered a Shack Burger and he got a double. Burgers were my definition of “best”—half way through my single Shack Burger, I was tempted to order another one!! Despite the warnings, we couldn't resist and ordered the fries—no cheese—and agree that they are passable! Was going to order an Abita beer (was quite surprised to see it on the menu—thanks for the rec!), but since the weather was questionable, I didn’t know if we’d have to get up and leave the area. Instead, I got the Concrete Jungle (absolutely amazing—probably wouldn’t have gotten it without the recommendations, as I’m not a HUGE peanut butter fan—but it was great and well worth the $6! Peanut Butter didn’t overpower it at all!) The boyfriend got a regular shake.

On a side note—the staff were very helpful and friendly. I called before we went down there to see if there was covered seating, and the man on the other end was very nice. It was barely drizzling when we got there, and the employees dried off the seats for us. Half way through the meal, the rain got worse, but we just popped open our umbrellas and continued to gorge! (it was kind of romantic… *gush*)

Aside from the very tame squirrel that kept jumping on one of our chairs it was a great experience. We’ll be back ... perhaps more than our waistlines would like!

Next time I’m going to have the ‘shroom burger as an app instead of the fries. Thanks for the good recommendations!
