SGV - Valley Blvd. update: NT Dumpling House, Dip's Grill, 101 Hot Pot

The part of Chandavkl and Sinosoul will be played by JThur today. Now, some of this has been mentioned prior by those two stalwarts and I can't beat them to something first, but hopefully I can add a bit of detail...

As has been previously reported, Dragon Mark is gone.. New signage is up - NT Dumpling House. Specials up in window indicate they have switched to their own menu.

Strawberry Cones, the Japanese pizza place, is "closed for remodeling" with a note directing people to their Alameda St. location in Los Angeles.

Palace Garden Tea Station has sign up indicating "new" and "more selections", etc. Don't tell me this is new management?...again? Or, is the sign old.

Ten Ren Tea Station has a notice in their window that they will soon be opening a location in Temple City. It will be on Las Tunas at Temple City Blvd.

New to the little center just west of New - the one with the bowling alley, 101 Noodle House and Mama's Kitchen, is Dip's Grill. Despite the "open" sign, it looked to me like they were still in the process. Looks to be a snack place - sliders, pork belly buns, skewers, shrimp, Hainan Chicken, etc. along with Vietnamese iced coffee (why no Cafe Di Vang in the SGV?) The intriguing thing to me was under desserts - our desserts change daily, ask us about them.

In the Focus Plaza, 101 Hot Pot replaces Cool Spot, which replaced a shaved ice get the idea. I know Sinosoul has already been there. No more Cool Spot, no more Crocodile Soup ("We really thought the Crocodile Soup would last..." :-) - points to anyone who gets that reference)
