Seville Orange Season is Coming

Father Kitchen | Sep 25, 201307:13 PM

In 2002, I stumbled on naranjas agrias in a Latino market in Milwaukee and made marmalade for the first time in my life. This year I plan to make Seville orange marmalade using John Thorne's "maximum marmalade" approach. The Seville orange season begins in late November. Rather than taking a chance of not finding them locally, I will order them from Florida. So those who want this fruit for marmalade and mojo or orange bitters, plan ahead. Or ask your local market if they will be ordering them.
