We're having two couples over this weekend and my husband has decided he wants to grill a Chimichurri marinated Tri-Tip.
I plan to make empanadas w/ lamb (because I love lamb more than anything in the world)as an appetizer - hot & fresh as the guests arrive.
I've tried researching some sides for the tri-tip and nothing is really doing it for me. One of the couples is highly adventerous and would eat just about anything - the other couple - not quite so much.
Conceptually, I'd like to stick with the Argentine theme - BUT - I'm really just looking for something that goes well with the tri-tip. Nothing too complicated as I'm only going to have a couple hours of prep time.
