Serena in RTP

Has anyone been to Serena for dinner? I know it is a popular lunch spot in RTP, but I had an excellent dinner there last night. They have made some changes in the kitchen and it is a work in progress cosmetically, but the food was excellent. My fiancee and I have croquetas filled with cheese and ham w/ a romesco style dipping sauce for an appetizer. I rarely have a problem with any deep fried cheese, but this was better than most. Crispy and cooked perfectly. For entrees we had the stuffed piquillo peppers (peppers stuffed with goat cheese) and beef & chicken Pinchos (appetizer of skewered chicken and beef). I had the peppers and they were as good a stuffed pepper as I have had in a long time. The peppers were stuffed with goat cheese and almonds with a sherry vinegar reduction. The reduction was sweet and went nice with the cheese and I like that fact that the peppers were not breaded and fried like its Mexican counterpart. The pinchos were cooked perfectly and came with an excellent cucumber mint sauce and an average bbq sauce. They also have a nice selection of spanish wines, which are a favorite of mine. Get out and support this place for dinner. The menu is small, but they are experimenting with many new dishes and seem willing to offer the diner some of these dishes. They are on Miami Blvd.(55)near Page Rd.
