islandmermaid | Aug 22, 201802:19 PM     45

Our voting round revealed abundant excitement for both of our contenders, and it was really a close call. With a 2 vote lead, our September Cookbook of the Month will be DINING IN: HIGHLY COOKABLE RECIPES by Alison Roman. Check out the book here: https://www.amazon.com/Dining-Cookabl...

Thanks to all who participated in our nominating and voting rounds this month, and please be on the lookout for the posting threads on September 1. In the meantime, we can use this thread to share any questions and thoughts on Dining In, plus links to any recipes from the book that are available online, for those who may not be able to access the book but would like to cook with us in September.

Take a spin through our previous Cookbook of the Month selections here - and we always enthusiastically welcome reports to any prior COTM, in case you would like to cook from a past winner: https://www.chowhound.com/cookbook_of...

I'm looking forward to exploring this book together in September. **Newcomers** -- if you've never experienced the creativity and camaraderie of Cookbook of the Month, we would love to have you! No experience necessary. Just plan to make a dish from the book and post your report in September. We're a warm and welcoming bunch and we love it when our group grows to include new participants!
